ABATTOIR

Dry Hopped Barrel Aged Farmhouse Ale •  8.5% ABV

A mixed fermentation farmhouse style ale aged in Chardonnay barrels. Dry hopped with El Dorado, this strong ale features aggressive Brettanomyces funkiness and mild oak.

 

ABRACADABRA

Nitro Sour Ale w/ Soursop & Vanilla • 6% ABV

A creamy, dessert style nitro sour brewed with Brazilian soursop and vanilla. No lactose.

 

AJJI MAJJI

Nitro Sour Ale w/ Peaches & Vanilla • 6% ABV

A creamy, dessert style nitro sour brewed with fresh Ontario peaches and vanilla. No lactose.

 

ANGELO DELLA MORTE

Nitro Sour Ale w/ Amaretto • 6.9% ABV

This cocktail inspired beer is a nod to the amaretto sour. Fresh squeezed lemon juice blended with sweet almonds, golden sour base and nitro give this beer all the characteristics of the classic drink.

      

ANNIE WILKES


Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout • 10% ABV

The latest offering from our barrel room (and our line of classic cinema villains of yore) this imperial stout blend was aged between 12-26 months in first-use Buffalo Trace barrels and brewed with no adjuncts, letting the full flavour of the oak barrels shine. The resulting brew is full bodied and semi-sweet, balancing nicely with an abundance of roasted malts, notes of vanilla, caramel and chocolate and graced with a slight touch of heat from the bourbon barrels. Very low numbers on this one so don’t sleep on it! We are a big fans over here.

     

ANOINTED

Pale ale w/ Citra and Mosaic • 6.0% ABV


Anointed is our newest pale ale: we’ve used only our hand selected new hops from the current crop year as a way of showcasing the new flavours that these hops provide. Expect notes of citrus (orange), mango and hints of pineapple and blueberry.

   

AUGUSTUS GLOOP

Dessert Stout w/ Caramel, Chocolate & Peanuts • 11% ABV

This Imperial dessert stout was brewed with chocolate and aged on peanuts and caramel. Aromas of peanut and caramel meld into the palate with the addition of dark roast and chocolate. Expect a full bodied mouth coating dessert experience.

 

AUGUSTUS GLOOP - BANOFEE PIE

Dessert Imperial Stout w/ Bananas, Toffee, Graham, Coffee & Chocolate  11.9%

Augustus Gloop is back and this time he’s indulging in Banoffee pie. We brewed a decadent, full bodied imperial stout with loads of chocolate, salted toffee and graham cracker. For the grand finale the beer was conditioned on bananas and bourbon barrel aged coffee beans from Good Morrow Coffee. This is a small batch so quantities won’t last long.

 

AUGUSTUS GLOOP - PEPPERMINT PATTIE

Dessert Imperial Stout w/ Chocolate & Mint • 11.5% ABV

Augustus Gloop is Back at it! This time he’s indulging on peppermint patties. We brewed a decadent, full bodied imperial stout with loads of chocolate and added a touch of mint for a cool refreshing sensation.

 

AUTOPOP

Dry Hopped Berliner-Rice • 4% ABV

This Berliner is brewed with rice and lightly dry hopped with Wakatu and Centennial. Expect a refreshing floral and lime aroma, balanced acidity and clean finish. Low ABV makes this brew the perfect session sour.

Our experimental low ABV sour series Autopop is back! This rendition was fermented on sweet cherries and conditioned on Tahitian Treats. Expect a touch of sweetness with a restrained sour finish.

Sour Ale • 4% ABV

The latest session sour Autopop is a veritable flavour bouquet of white grape, lime, orange, peach & strawberry: like a Dutch master’s perfectionist still life tableaux of the palate. The last stroke of the brush? A hint of mint. Magnifique.

BALAM

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout •  11% ABV

This beast is infused with a combination of smoked malts, coffee and vanilla. Expect a big and boozy aroma with layers of chocolate, coffee and bourbon.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - GOLDEN SOUR

Barrel Aged Golden Sour Ale  • 9% ABV

A celebration of things that hibernate. This series is an ongoing experimentation of ideas coming from our barrel room.

This iteration of bear worship is a blend of golden sour and 100% Brett fermented beers. Expect a Brett forward base with medium acidity. It boasts a floral aroma with notes of stone fruit and white wine on the palate.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - NECTARINE

Barrel Aged Golden Sour Ale w/ Nectarines • 6.5% ABV

A celebration of things that hibernate. This series is an ongoing experimentation of ideas coming from our barrel room.

This is the very first iteration in the series. We have blended a variety of barrel aged saison and golden sour and conditioned them on nectarines from Niagara. This beer finishes dry with assertive Brett character perfectly balanced with soft acidity and bright stone fruit.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - NECTARINE (2022)

Barrel Aged Golden Sour Ale • 6.5% ABV

This series is an ongoing experimentation of left-of-center ideas coming from our barrel room and a continuing celebration of things that hibernate. This recipe is a blend of 12-16 month Brett and Golden Sour beers aged in neutral oak barrels. We added to this blend an enormous amount of local Ontario grown nectarines for another two months of slumber and bottle conditioning to ensure pure perfection. Expect a draught of dry and funky, with a medium to high acidity. Other notes, according to the powers on high: “delicious AF”. Guess that pretty much says it all.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - PEACH & NECTARINE

Wild Ale w/ Peach & Nectarine • 8% ABV

The latest iteration of Bear Worship was designed to accentuate our favourite wild yeast, fruit and bacteria.  The product was aged in stainless for 6 months to accomplish this.  Four of these months were spent conditioning on 35 grams per litre of local nectarines and peaches.  We then packaged and bottle conditioned the beers until they were just right.  The finished product is highly effervescent with stone fruit taking centre stage.  A touch of ripe funk and bright acidity make way to a dry and refreshing finish.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - PEACH & MANGO

Barrel Aged Sour Saison w/ Peaches & Mango  • 8% ABV

This rendition of Bear worship was a blend of one year saison and golden sour barrels. Neutral barrels were used as a vessel for multiple strains of bacteria and saison. After their slumber in barrels they were conditioned on mangos and Ontario peaches for two months. The beer was then packaged and bottle-conditioned for another two months. Aromas of sweet tropical fruit and musk are met with subtle peach, citrus zest and mango on the palate. An effervescent brew with soft acidity and a dry finish.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - RASPBERRY & BLACKBERRY

Barrel Aged Sour Ale w/ Raspberries & Blackberries • 8% ABV

The sixth rendition of Bear Worship is a blend of barrel aged golden sours aged on second use raspberries and blackberries. We left the carbonation soft to balance it's bright acidity. This vinous beer finishes dry and slightly tannic, with notes of stone fruit and a hint of funk.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - STRAWBERRY

Barrel Aged Golden Sour Ale w/ Strawberries • 7.5% ABV

A celebration of things that hibernate. This series is an ongoing experimentation of ideas coming from our barrel room. This rendition of Bear Worship is a blend of barrel aged saison and golden sour. The blend was fermented on strawberries and bottle conditioned to perfection. Light oak and fresh strawberries lead into a full jammy finish balanced with bright acidity.

 

BEAR WORSHIP - TANGERINE SPICE

Barrel Aged Sour Saison w/ Tangerine Spice  • 7% ABV

A celebration of things that hibernate. This series is an ongoing experimentation of ideas coming from our barrel room.

This iteration of bear worship is a blend of saison and golden sour. After 12-16 months of slumber in barrels we conditioned the blend with tangerine and cinnamon. Expect light acidity, medium body and a dry finish.

 

BILLY SUNDAY

Boubon Barrel Aged Nitro Sour Ale • 8% ABV

Resembling a whipped Whiskey Sour, this golden ale is brewed with rye and aged in bourbon barrels. The addition of lemon zest and a dose of nitro round out this cocktail-inspired ale.

 

BLACK HAND

North American Stout •  7% ABV

Our flagship stout is brewed with a complex combination of premium roasted malts, resulting in a full-bodied and bold ale, rich with layers of chocolate and espresso. The most drinkable stout you’ll find this side of the pond! 

      

BLACK PHILLIP

Cognac Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout • 11.9% ABV

Aged for 18 months in select cognac barrels from our collection, Black Phillip is just that: black as the night is long, with a thick & dark head and devilishly rich. Prepare thyself for strong notes of sweet cherry, vanilla and a perfect baking chocolate dry finish. It’s like a black cherry chocolate bar handed to you by the dark lord himself, but with no strings attached.

   

BLAU BRÄU

Pilsner w/ Tettnanger & Saaz • 5% ABV

Blood Brothers set out to make the ultimate Octoberfest pilsner, but ended up settling for its second cousin (because let’s be honest, we aren’t known for following strict recipes): a fabulous crispy brew we are calling Blau Bräu. Rife with aromas of baking bread and crackers, flavours of fresh honey and a medium body & slightly dry finish, this beer ends with a perfect lingering bitterness upon the palate. A super drinkable pilsner that is so clear, one can see the future through the glass. And the future is good! Especially with a couple more Blau Bräus under our belts. Double proust!!

        

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - BADLANDS

IIIPA w/ Nelson & Mosaic • 10.5% ABV

This IIIPA was brewed with Dingemann pale malts, oats and wheat. Dry hopped with Nelson and Mosaic, the nose is extremely dank but drinks like a tropical smoothie. Deep orange body with a tan head.

Imperial Stout w/ Chocolate, Coconut & Banana • 10% ABV

Have you ever put chocolate ice cream, bananas, and toasted coconut into a blender? 

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - BREWSKEY

Imperial Double Fruited Sour w/ Black Current & Mango • 9% ABV

We brewed this double fruited imperial sour ale with our good friends at Brewskey.  We wanted to push the boundaries of fruit additions in a sour ale so we chose mango purée and whole black currants as our combo.  The idea was to create a nice tannic quality from the black currants to balance the sweet tropical juice flavours of the mango. Mango comes through on the aroma while black currants take the forefront on the palate.  A touch of sweetness is balanced with a healthy dose of acid.  Bon appetit.

  

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - DOMINION CITY

Imperial Pastry Stout w/ Caramel, Pretzels, Vanilla, Graham Cracker & Chocolate • 11% ABV

This Imperial Dessert stout was brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Dominion City. We wanted to make something enormously indulgent for halloween. Pretzels, Graham, Vanilla, Caramel and chocolate come together in a sweet halloween treat.

We added pretzels and graham into our mash and boiled this beer for 30 hours. We finished off our boil by adding bricks of caramel and chocolate. For the final touch we conditioned this beer on vanilla. Trick or treat.

 

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - MERIT

Double Fruited IIPA w/ Guava, Citra & Sabro • 7.7% ABV

We teamed up with our friends Merit Brewing to bring you a tropical treat. We brewed this IIPA with a “top secret” yeast blend and a double dose of guava. The guava fills out an already soft and pillowy body and transports you to a safe, warm place. A copious dry hop with Citra and Sabro offers a bright citrus punch with a creamy coconut finish.

 

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - ROUGE RIVER

IIPA w/ Lychee • 8.5% ABV

This IIPA is full spring break. Lychee and sabro hops meld into a beautiful all inclusive lazy river that doesn’t stop.

 

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - SHORT FINGER

Fruit Punch Sour Ale  • 4% ABV

Bringing you back to when your mom made your lunch. This sour ale takes inspiration from the finest fruit punches made. Slightly tart and brewed with cherry, pineapple, guava and orange zest.

 

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - THIRD MOON

Imperial Dessert Stout • Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake • 11.9%

This decadent beast of a stout was brewed for you with our friends at Third Moon Brewing. This is the richest, dark chocolate cherry cheesecake you will ever consume. We brewed this beer extremely high gravity with powdered cream cheese, dark cherry and cocoa. The mouthfeel is thick and creamy with cherry pie filling and dark chocolate on the palate. The cream cheese adds texture as well as a slight tanginess to complete this no bake recipe.

 

BLOOD BROTHERHOOD - TOWN BREWERY

Triple IPA Dry Hopped w/ Azacca & Idaho 7 • 9.8% ABV

This triple IPA was brewed in collaberation with our good friends at Town brewery.  This beer was brewed with loads of oats for a luxurious, creamy body.  Ripe banana and pineapple are prevalent in the aroma with loads of papaya and mango on the palate.  A touch  sweet on the finish to accentuate all of its  juicy qualities with little to no bitterness.

 

BLOOD IN PUBLIC

Dry Hopped Berliner-Rice • 3.2% ABV

A collab with our friends at L’Espace Public. This light, crisp, and refreshing sour ale is brewed with copious amounts of rice, and dry hopped with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Expect balanced acidity with floral and lemon notes.

 

BLOOD LIGHT

Session Pale Ale •  4% ABV

Our lauded pale ale features bold tropical fruit aromas, the result of being jam-packed with juicy Citra and El Dorado hops and a soft bitterness balanced by a healthy dose of flaked oats and wheat. It might share a similar name, but there is nothing light (or domestic) about this rich, delicious craft ale. 

   

BLOOD BROTHERS BREWING X 4 ORIGINES - CROSS MY HEART

Can Conditioned Gose w/ Raspberries • 4% ABV

A collaboration with 4 Origines of Montreal, our gose has a light funk, a bright acidity that is perfectly balanced by a hint of salt, with a spice and light floral nose from coriander, and a fruity but dry finish. We then can-condition it to the perfect gose carbonation, which is liberated right before it hits the lips. We promise this will be the best gose you’ll have this spring season. Cross our heart.  

    

BLOOD BROTHERS BREWING X BEER LAB! - GLAZE FOR DAYS

Imperial Donut Stout w/ Blueberries, Cream Cheese & Vanilla • 10% ABV

A collaboration with Beerlab!, Glaze For Days is a decadent stout: chock full of fresh whole blueberries and creamy cream cheese, perfectly balanced with a light-roasted malt, and as thick as a December night, you’ll understand how we can describe this brew as “donut-y”. Technically this could be called a dessert stout but after all, donuts are an all-day affair: and who can stop at just one?

   

BLOOD X TOWN - BLOOD 5.0

Ale • 5% ABV

Our Blood 5.0 is our response to the question “What would you like to drink at your favourite dive bar?”. We took the ingredients from one of our nostalgic go-to beers, sourced the best quality ingredients and amplified choice elements to give you the experience you’ve always wanted in a craft “domestic”. The resulting ale is a full-bodied, lightly fruity, lightly malted and easily crushable brew that dunks on its inspiration. We may have just kicked off a domestic beer revolution over here at Blood Brothers and you have been given front row seats.

 

BLOODVAR

Pilsner-ish • 5% ABV

Reacquaint yourself with our flagship crisp sipper, for our signature pils is back! While the world was taking a break, we reworked our Bloodvar to be closer to a classic Czech style: it sports a full, soft body of bready malts and a hefty punch of Saaz hops for harmony and flavour. Bloodvar is the ultimate refresher for a long hard day working for the man.

 

BRUTE w/ CITRA

Dry Hopped Sour Saison • 5.7% ABV

Combined with our Paradise Lost sour ale, this saison is a tart and refreshing blend. The addition of dry hopped Citra leaves notes of fresh melon, citrus and stone fruit.

 

BRUTE w/ FRUIT

Sour Saison w/ Nectarine, Honeydew & Chablis Grapes • 5.9% ABV

Combined with our Paradise Lost sour ale, this saison explodes with bright floral notes, a round honey background and hints of stone fruit.

CACTUS HEAD

Double Dry Hopped IPA •  6.5% ABV

Double dry hopped with Cryo Mosaic, Mosaic and Citra. This IPA features juicy fruit flavours and aromas. The addition of Muscat grapes gives the body extra complexity and juicy qualities.

 

CAPTAIN HOWDY

B.B.A. Imperial Stout w/ Coconut & Hazelnut • 11% ABV

Someone call a priest. This years rendition was a selection of bookers and bakers barrels. Aromas of Coconut and hazelnut are followed by Smooth bourbon heat on the palate. Layers of chocolate, fudge and vanilla are all rounded out with a balanced sweetness.

  

CUNNING OF HAND

IPA w/ Citra & Mosaic (Incognito, Spectrum & T90) • 6.5% ABV

Cunning of Hand is an IPA that is standing at the forefront of brewing evolution: by experimenting with new technology at the leading edge of science, while keeping one foot still in the traditional brewing world, a vital new practice is being forged. We used Incognito and Spectrum aroma products alongside the tried and true traditional methods to push hop saturation to the limits while still creating balanced beer, a hybrid approach that signals the future to come. Expect smooth notes of peach, melon and lychee with the berry pine aroma of a mountain walk at midday. 

 

CUNNING OF HAND 2

IPA w/ Sabro (Incognito), Mosaic (Spectrum) Nelson & Galaxy • 6.5% ABV


Cunning of Hand is an IPA standing at the forefront of brewing evolution: by experimenting with new technology at the leading edge of science, while keeping one foot still in the traditional brewing world, a vital new practice is being forged. This edition has an amped up body, offering a full, soft and extremely well balanced beer.  The cohesive flavour blend of grapes, stone fruit and citrus gives summer vibes of white sangria, promising to be the best Cunning of Hand yet.

IPA w/ Citra (Spectrum), El Dorado & El Dorado (Cryo) • 6.5% ABV

This edition’s smooth bitterness keeps the balance steady while letting the OJ shine, with a medley of citrus fruits and tropical fruits filling out the flavour profile, all while boasting a beautiful, bright straw colour and fulfilling the promise of its name.

  

CUNNING OF HAND IIPA

IIPA w/ Phantasm, Citra Incognito, Mosaic Spectrum & Cryo El Dorado • 8% ABV

Cunning of Hand is an ongoing exploration at the forefront of brewing evolution: by experimenting with new technology at the leading edge of science, while keeping one foot still in the traditional brewing world, a vital new practice is being forged. In this continuing spirit of exploration, we’ve turned this Cunning into a double IPA! This edition’s juicy aroma is of tropical fruits & citrus and is bursting with balanced hop character. Add to this a full body and medium-to-full sweetness and this is a beer of staggering taste.

DAMIEN THORN

Imperial Stout w/ Maple Syrup, Coffee & Hazelnut • 11.9% ABV

We've made some changes to amp up this decadent stout. We've brewed at a higher gravity for a fuller mouth feel and bumped the ABV to an Ontario 11.9%. We used bourbon barrel aged coffee from Good Morrow coffee, dark maple syrup and a touch of hazelnut to round out the edges and compliment the roast profile.

 

DARK 'N' SOUR

Sour Stout •  7% ABV

The ultimate combination of sour cherries and dark chocolate, with a touch of sweetness.

 

DARK ‘N’ SOUR - BARREL AGED CHERRY

Barrel Aged Sour Stout w/ Cherries • 9% ABV

This sour stout was aged for one year in brandy barrels and refermented on whole Montmorency cherries. Expect a big hit of brandy up front with notes of dark fruit and raisin. The sweet finish is balanced by a fresh fruit acidity.

 

DARK & SOUR (2021)

Barrel Aged Sour Stout • 10.8% ABV

This “barrel room” recipe uses wild yeast and sour beers blended and aged 12-16 months in neutral oak barrels, then added to a wagonload of whole cherries to mingle for another two months, before bottle conditioning to perfection in a cozy section of our brewery.

The final Dark & Sour stout marries the ultimate flavour combination of sour cherries and dark chocolate, all with a kiss of sweetness, like a Valentines Day of the palate.

DESPECIATION


IPA W/ El Dorado, Cashmere, Cascade & Simcoe • 7.5% ABV

Using half Ontario ingredients, this new IPA splits the continental divide: for the first time upon the palate and on equal footing are the hops of East and West, a meeting of green giants upon open plains of malted barley. No longer will the west ride solely alone, for the upstart eastern flower has proven itself to be a worthy flavour contender time and time again. A new species has arisen in Western Ontario and we welcome you to the press conference: come experience the results of this heady alliance.

    

DESPECIATION - CENTENNIAL, CITRA & SIMCOE

IPA w/ Centennial, Citra & Simcoe • 6.0% ABV


Despeciation is our local hoppy series: by using a majority of Ontario ingredients we are establishing our belief that we can indeed “build it here”, that eastern Canada has the ability to produce the highest quality grains, yeast, and hops. Our time is gonna come, in other words. In the meantime, enjoy a full-bodied IPA with notes of pineapple & melon and a light finish of orange pith for a perfectly balanced bitterness.

DEVIL SAUCE

IIPA w/ Galaxy, Cashmere, & Mosaic • 8.5% ABV

We brewed this IIPA with the wonderful folks at Bellwoods Brewery. We decided to both make the same IIPA…. but different. We both used Mosaic, Cashmere and Galaxy and put our own special touch on each recipe. This beer is highly aromatic with notes of peach, melon and mango. The body is soft with a touch of sweetness to balance the tropical boatload of hops we used to make this.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL I

Oat IPA • 6.7% ABV

Brewed with a heavy dose of oats, this hazy IPA features bold tropical flavours of pineapple, papaya and grapefruit. Columbus, Citra, Wai-ti offer a smooth hop character with full body and no sweetness.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL II

Wheat IPA • 7.2% ABV

A thick, hazy IPA, this brew is wheat heavy and packed with Columbus, Cascade, Mosaic and Citra hops. Smooth with a lingering body, the Devil’s Trill II features pear and orange flavours with a hint of sweetness.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL III: TRILL HARDER

IPA • 6% ABV

Brewed with a Scottish ale yeast, this hazy IPA features bold tropical flavours of pineapple, papaya and grapefruit. Cryo Citra, Mosaic and Wai-ti offer a smooth hop character with full body and a hint of sweetness.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL IV: A NEW HOPE

Nitro Apricot DIPA • 9.5% ABV

This nitro double IPA is highly aromatic with dry hopped Citra, Simcoe and Cascade. The addition of fresh pureed apricots provides tart flavour and a thick and full bodied mouth feel.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL V: TRILLOGY

IPA • 6.5% ABV

A hazy Vermont style IPA, dry hopped with west coast hops. Full bodied with a prominent tropical aroma. Devil’s Trill V is a saturation of the senses.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL VI: TOKYO TRILL

Imperial IPA • 8% ABV

A hazy Vermont style IPA, dry hopped with Centennial, Hallertau Blanc and Citra. Light floral notes and a delicate fruitiness keep this Imperial IPA an easy drinking experience.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL VII: TRILL ‘EM ALL

DDH IPA w/ Sabro & Coconut • 7.5% ABV

So met-ale. Double dry hopped with Sabro and Galaxy, this hazy IPA is infused with toasted coconut, adding creaminess to notes of tangerine and stonefruit.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL VIII: TRILLMANIA

DDH IPA w/ Vic Secret & Galaxy • 6% ABV

This IPA was brewed with flaked oats, wheat, Pilsner and Kveik yeasts. Dry hopped with Citra, Galaxy, and El Dorado. Intense aromas of sweet passionfruit, tangerine and pineapple.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL XI: LICENSED TO TRILL

Kveik IPA • 7% ABV

This thick IPA is brewed with Kveik yeast and Mosaic, Galaxy, Amarillo and Citra hops. Packed with notes of chewy mango, pineapple and sweet citrus with balanced bitterness.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL XII: CYPRESS TRILL

IPA • 6.3% ABV

This beer was brewed with flaked rice, flaked oats, Pilsner and Voss Kveik yeasts. Citra and Colombus hops were used in the whirlpool with a massive Nelson dry hop and a touch of Wai-iti. Citrus compliments intense stone fruit with lychee and white grapes on the nose. Flaked rice keeps the malt profile clean and light to allow the ungodly Nelson dry hop to shine. Expect a smooth bitterness and balanced sweetness on the finish.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL XIII: JAGGED LITTLE TRILL

IPA w/ Passion Fruit • 7.4% ABV

This IPA was fermented with passion fruit and dry hopped with Citra, Vic Secret and Sabro. The passion fruit sets a solid tropical fruit base. Pineapple and stone fruit are first on the palate followed by a touch of coconut and citrus. Expect a clean, bitter finish and balanced sweetness.

Triller Genuine Craft brings texture to a new level. A copious amount of lychee meets the pillowy finish of nitro. Nelson and Mosaic were the perfect hops to make this fruit smoothie inspired IIPA with notes of mango, passion fruit and stone fruit. An assertive bitterness brings all of the parts together into a cohesive Genuine Craft.

This IIPA was dry hopped with Citra, El Dorado and Sabro. Your journey begins with a bouquet of Pineapple and Coconut . You will experience a full bodied and structured  beer with a luxurious mouth feel.  Ripe tangerines and stone fruit give a perceived sweetness that is balanced with a smooth bitter finish.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL XVII: PSYCHO TRILLER

IIPA w/ Citra & El Dorado • 8.0% ABV

This iteration of Devil’s Trill tests the balance of whirlpool and dry hop additions.  With a much larger whirlpool addition than usual we used Citra and El Dorado to create this soft yet structured IIPA. Stone fruit and citrus dominate both the palate and aroma. Assertive bitterness plays the final note in this composition.

 

DEVIL’S TRILL XVIII: BEVERLY TRILLS

IIPA w/ Idaho 7, Simcoe & Galaxy • 8.5% ABV

Beverly Trills was dry hopped with Idaho 7, Simcoe and Galaxy.  Expect intense aromas of lychee, Sauvignon Blanc, and clementine.  This fruit salad in a can is extremely fluffy with mild bitterness reminiscent of citrus zest

 

DEVIL’S TRILL XIX: GODTRILLA

IIPA w/ Belma, Meridian & Vic Secret • 8.5% ABV

This beast was dry hopped with Belma, Meridian and Vic Secret. Aromas of stone fruit and cantaloupe are complimented with an ultra soft body and pillowy head. Hints of swedish berries and citrus on the palate with a smooth bitterness create the perfect balance.

We triple dry hopped this beer with Columbus, Citra, Azacca and Galaxy. Potent aromas of citrus zest and stone fruit move seamlessly into a euphoric tropical breeze. The palate is impressively soft, boasting flavours of pineapple and vanilla. A perfect touch of piney bitterness completes this latest composition.

This rendition features Citiva, a new hop on our roster. We paired Citiva with El Dorado and a touch of Pacifica for synergistic effects. Scents of ripe stone fruit are complimented with citrus, and tropical fruits on the palate. The body is full and smooth with restrained bitterness for drinkability.

We’ve collaborated with three of our favourite breweries to can a trio of double IPA’s for this holiday season and to celebrate the 27th chapter of the incorrigible Devil’s Trill. Badlands, Third Moon and Brewskey have teamed with us to create three individual riffs on our Trill recipe: two IIPAs and an Oat Cream IIPA, all with the crisp *hoppy finish of a fine winters morning.  Have we outdone ourselves? Barrel Aged Sour w/ Pineapple, Mango & Citra • 8% ABV

For this collaboration with our friends at Messorem, we searched our barrel collection for the perfect combination of potential flavour catalysts and came up with five barrels that were perfect for our vision. We then dry hopped with Citra for bio transformation magic and conditioned our blend on mango and pineapple for 5 months. Bottle conditioning was a necessity for those for lively, natural bubbles. Expect a medium acidity, a good funk with mango support, and a nice pineapple top end.

IIPA w/ Galaxy, Simcoe, Amarillo & Motueka • 9.5% ABV

This iteration of EGA was dry hopped with mosaic and sabro.  Tangerine and ripe mangoes start the show and finish with creamy coconut.  This version has dialled back the sweetness a touch without changing the signature full body, soft mouthfeel and restrained bitterness you’ve come to enjoy.

This rendition of EGA was dry hopped with Citra, Sabro, Simcoe and Cashmere. We pushed Cashmere in front to provide softness to a drier take on the EGA series. Aromas of melon and papaya dominate with hints of citrus and stone fruit backing up the team. The drier finish allows for a more pronounced but rounded bitterness with a hint of pine and orange peel.

We have teamed up with our friends at Rosewood Winery to complete this season’s Fall of Thebes! We brewed our original version with a blend of Ontario grape skins and tucked them away for just under two years in Burgundy barrels. The final product was blended with barrel aged saison, golden sour, Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir. Expect a funky, full-bodied, juicy beer, with notes of Swedish Berries, sour plums, cherry, oak, leather and a touch of raspberry vinegrette.

 

FALL OF THEBES - CHERRY, BLACKBERRY, RASPBERRY

Barrel Aged Wild Ale w/ Fruit  • 8% ABV

This season’s Fall of Thebes is all about berries! We brewed our base beer and let it rest in neutral oak for up to 18 months.  After its slumber in oak we made a blend that would balance with the acid from the gluttonous amounts of cherries, blackberries and raspberries it would condition on for four months. Barrel Aged Wild Ale w/ Fruit Skins • 7.5% ABV

This rendition of Fall of Thebes was aged on niagara cherry skins during primary fermentation.  It was then aged in Neutral Oak for 12-18 Months.  It was blended to achieve a balanced level of acidity and was aged again on raspberries and blackberries.  Expect high carbonation with saturated jammy berries giving way to a dry and funky finish.

Our latest Fall of Thebes was blended in neutral oak barrels and then matured for 12-18 months in quiet contemplation.  We then re-fermented the glorious brew on Riesling grape skins, stems and juice for 3 months and naturally carbonated the results in bottle.  Expect high carbonation, dry finish and medium to high acidity.

Our latest Fall of Thebes is a super funky brew made with White Flesh Ontario peaches and whole raspberries. While berry-forward, the peach finish softens the citric bite of the raspberry, providing a perfect marriage of the two upon the palate, all but assuring temporal bliss.

Pedro Ximénez Sherry Barrel Aged Stout w Camino Verde Cocoa & Biloya - Ethiopian Coffee from Hale Coffee • 11.9% ABV

Father Malone is brewed to showcase not only the dark malts we love but also the favourite barrels we've selected for aging. We set a base beer to rest for an entire year in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels to extract the full flavour potential of this complex but fabulous pairing. In this version we’ve used one of our favourite beans from Hale, their delightful Ethiopian roast, to enrich the flavour profile: expect aromas of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa and a healthy dose of candied fruit and sherry heat.

We brewed some beers with the fine folks at Collective Arts to welcome them to the neighbourhood. For this welcoming party we cooked up a fresh batch of strawberry shortcake. We brewed a soft and pillowy ale with a touch of lactose and conditioned it on whole strawberries, fresh lemons and vanilla. It tastes like cake.

FROM HORSES

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout w/ Figs, Orange & Cinnamon • 10% ABV

From horses was conceived as a gateway into summer imperial stouts. We took to the mediterranean for inspiration and came up with something to fulfill your summer sweet tooth.

Our base stout was aged for one year in freshly dumped bookers bourbon barrels. The beer developed deep flavours of fudge and vanilla during this rest. After it’s long slumber we further conditioned the beer on figs, orange zest and cinnamon. While the flavours are decadent and rich the orange zest provides a bright and refreshing note that lightens up the drinking experience.

Imperial Stout w/ Cinnamon & Chocolate Bhutlahs • 11.9% ABV

Gothicus is our liquid ode to Valentine’s day. This year we wanted to create something special for the one you love….even if it’s yourself. Nothing says love like chocolate and cinnamon hearts. We brewed a massive chocolate base stout at 11.9% and created the cinnamon heart experience by conditioning this beer on cinnamon and chocolate bhutlah peppers. The heat is reminiscent of finishing a bag of cinnamon hearts by your lonesome. The chocolate base is gluttonous like a pint of ice cream but completes this liquid love poem.

Double Dry Hopped IPA • 6.5% ABV

Hazy gold in colour, dry hopped with El Dorado, Amarillo and Sorachi Ace hops. Notes of lemon, tangerine and black pepper.

 

GUILTY REMNANT

White Stout w/ Coffee, Vanilla & Lactose •  6% ABV

This "white stout” is brewed with all of the elements of a traditional stout without any roasted malts. Instead, we infuse this decadent, full bodied ale with vanilla and locally roasted coffee to provide delightful aromas of coffee and white chocolate.

Here at Blood Brothers Brewing: we’ve just finished our second Half & Half:  a killer half sour ale, half banana, pineapple & mango puree slushie we are calling Mango Overdrive. Be prepared for flavour profiles of the future and delightful surprises. This recipe builds a tropical, peach and pine hop profile over a medium dry full body and the result is a pretty knockout beer, if we may be so humble.

This ale is where we get excited about the full potential of non-intuitive hops and malt pairings, a sort of proving ground of flavour possibilities farther out on the margins of the brewing industry palate. Spontaneous Blend • 7% ABV

Lazarus Syndrome is our homage to spontaneous fermentation. A product unique to our brewery that can never be replicated. We aim to create a flavour that is connected to the terroir of our brewery and the spaces we bring our coolship. In the true sense of our brewery we do not adhere to any rules or guidelines in the process of making this product. Our goal with this series is to offer distinctive flavour profiles that are a result of our location. The aim is to grow the program to 100% spontaneous blends that are unrepeatable and deeply complex.

Our first offering is a blend of one and two year spontaneous with 15% barrel aged golden sour. Aromas of stone fruit and hay are complimented with bright citrus acidity. Fleshy fruit and mustiness are brought to life with natural effervescence.

 

LAZARUS SYNDROME - CHERRY

Spontaneous Blend w/ Montmorency Cherries • 7% ABV

Brewed in collaboration with Sweden's Dugges Bryggeri, Lagom is a saison brewed with lingonberries and spices. A summer sipper, Lagom is meant to be tart, spicy and refreshing.

Sour Ale w/ Cashmere • 4% ABV

We’ve brought your favourite beer/wine hybrid to a sessionable format! Little White Lies is a sour ale fermented on a blend of white wine grapes and dry hopped with Cashmere. Aromas of candied pineapple meld into bright citrus fruits and lychee on the palate. The finish is off-dry, clean and extremely refreshing.

Dry Hopped Double IPA • 8.4% ABV

This DIPA is packed with 2-Row, Golden Promise, flaked oat and wheat, and dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe.

Refermented with Mango and Guava, this DIPA is packed with 2-Row, Golden Promise, flaked oat and wheat, and dry hopped with Cryo Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Cascade.

 

LUCKY CAT

Hazy Dry Hopped Gose w/ Plums • 7.5% ABV

A collab with local speakeasy Mahjong, this take on a traditional gose was barrel aged with plums for 3 months, and dosed with a Sorachi Ace and Motueka dry hop. Expect bright, fruity aromas of gooseberries, and comforting flavours of candied plums, light oak and white wine. Balanced salinity rounds out this hazy brew.

This thick and full bodied imperial stout boasts aromas of coffee. Mild bourbon is layered with mounds of sweet and salty peanut butter.

This North American IPA is brewed with a blend of New Zealand and American hops, then refermented with locally produced strawberry juice. The tropical fruit and grapefruit hop aromas are accented beautifully by the sweet and juicy berries.

 

MOMOTARO

Wild Ale w/ Ontario Peaches •  6.5% ABV

This Brett forward fruit beer was aged for over a month with local Ontario peaches from this year’s harvest. Expect a considerable amount of fruity Brett funk and ripe peach upfront, followed by a pleasant tart finish.

West Coast IIPA w/ Columbus, Citra, Simcoe & Cascade • 9.0% ABV

Our DIPA collaboration with our friends at Dominion City is a salute to the O.G.’s of the IPA and a grateful nod to the West Coast. Like the classics, this dry brew has a round and balanced bitterness and is saturated with citrus, pine, tropical fruit and candied hops, making Moment of Clarity an extremely drinkable 9% beer. This imperial brown ale was brewed into our second use Balam barrels. While the bourbon is not prominent, notes of caramel and vanilla still shine through. Caramel, vanilla and coconut create a full-bodied and sweet finish that is balanced with roasted coffee.

Smoke & Tears is a collaborative version of our sweet mango heat. @smokeandtearsco put together a top secret blend of peppers to bring the heat to our sour mango ale. Mango is saturated on the nose and palate but gives way to a gentle rolling heat. A warming sensation builds with every sip and is balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and acididty.

Brett Berliner Weisse w/ Apricot • 4.3% ABV

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Escarpment Labs, this small but flavourful ale is tart, fruity and funky. Using a mixed culture of yeasts and bacteria, including a strain of Brett isolated from a traditional German Berliner Weisse, we let this ale age on over 400 lbs of pureed apricots for 6 weeks.

 

PARTY TRICKS AT CANA

Fruited IIPA w/ Mango, Sabro & Galaxy •  8.8% ABV

This party trick takes delicious fruit purees and turns them into delicious double IPA’s! The first in this series features galaxy and sabro with a healthy dose of alphonso mango puree. The beer pours a vibrant orange with a full body and smooth mouthfeel. Beyond the obvious mango vibes, galaxy and sabro present papaya vanilla and coconut. The third and final act  brings a refined bitterness that pull this trick together.

And in true Blood Brothers fashion, our Octoberfest beers come on their own schedule (not during traditional Octoberfest and nor from traditional recipes). A collaboration with Slake Brewing, Puma Klaue is an easy drinking and crispy affair with a low sweetness, a medium dry body with a toasty malt, a rounded bitterness and a light, fruit finish. With a crisp Vienna lager in hand, what better way is there to toast the season that was, and tip our hats to the seasons to come? None we can think of. Proust!

Rum Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout • 11.9% ABV

The latest offering from our barrel room (and our line of classic cinema villains of yore), Reverend Kane suffers no fools: this thick and viscous imperial stout is aged in freshly dumped spiced rum barrels and is rife with a current of pleasant dark roast character and an undertone of raisin, molasses and rum spice that finishes with a perfect ratio of roast to sweetness. Possession of this wily stout is a prerequisite for this Halloween season!

   

RONNIE’S PHARMACEUTICALS

New World British Pale Ale • 6.2% ABV

A collab with Toronto watering holes Ronnie’s and Pharmacy, this take on a traditional ESB features a blend of fruity UK and New World hops. Expect a malty backbone from English base malts, balanced bitterness, and a slightly dry and fruity finish.

 

RONNIE’S PHARMACEUTICALS

Berliner-Rice w/ Cherry, Pomegranate & Ginger • 4.2 % ABV

A collab with Toronto watering holes Ronnie’s and Pharmacy, this light, clean sour ale is brewed with rice and fermented in neutral oak barrels. Inspired by the nostalgic flavours of a Shirley Temple, cherry, pomegranate and ginger are added making it reminiscent of everyone’s favourite virgin cocktail.

Sheriff Taylor is a beer brewed to showcase dark malts and bourbon. We set this beer to rest for 18 months in Baker's bourbon barrels. Aromas of bourbon are complimented with fig, chocolate and caramel on the palate. We accentuated the velvety texture of this beer with nitrogen to provide the ultimate luxurious night cap.

SHERIFF TAYLOR - V2 Summer 2021

B.B.A. Imperial Stout • 11% ABV

Sheriff Taylor is a beer brewed to showcase dark malts and the barrels we select for aging.  We set this version to rest for a year in Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels.   We brewed this stout full bodied and smooth to create the perfect vehicle for flavours of chocolate, caramel vanilla and a healthy dose of bourbon heat.

 

SHERIFF TAYLOR (2022)

Pedro Ximenez Sherry Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout • 11.9% ABV

Sheriff Taylor is brewed to showcase not only the dark malts we love but also the favourite barrels we've selected for aging.  We set a base beer to rest for an entire year in PX sherry barrels to extract the full flavour potential of this alluring pairing. The extremely rich bouquet of the resulting stout is chock full of notes of candied fruit and honey as well as accompanying aromas of toasted coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa, creating a deep and rich brew for the history books.

 

SHUMEI

IPA •  7% ABV

Our flagship IPA, Shumei is a highly aromatic and hazy brew, boasting notes of ripe mangos and stone fruit, all while sporting an impressively smooth palate with hints of citrus and finishing with a perfectly refined bitterness. Utilizing the best qualities of both worlds, our hops are sourced from both east and west varietals, creating the perfect blend of East Coast and West Coast IPA styles. Often imitated but never bettered, Shumei is the first and last name in hybrid IPAs and a beer we will stake our reputation upon. 

 

SIEGE OF ANTIOCH

Spiced Rye Sour Ale • 7% ABV

Revel in the smooth, tart flavours of nuts and cherries. Infused with rosewater and mahleb, a Turkish aromatic spice, this rye ale will surely siege your tastebuds.

IIPA w/ HBC 586, Sabro & Citra • 8.5% ABV

We’ve virtually teamed up with the amazing folks at Nickel Brook Brewing. We made a beer to celebrate Pride and raise awareness and funds for Rainbow Railroad.

Rainbow Railroad is a Canadian charitable organization that helps LGTBQI+ individuals escape violence and persecution in their home countries by relocating them to safer places.

We’ve each made an IIPA featuring HBC586 and secretly chose different hops for support. We dry hopped our version with Citra, Sabro and HBC586. Aromas of lychee dominate and flow seamlessly into white grapes and stone fruit on the palate. The body is soft but not too heavy for maximum summer drinkability.

SOMEWHERE (2022)

Sour IPA w/ Pineapple, Mango, Mosaic, Sequoia & Simcoe • 7% ABV

   
For the second year in a row, we have collaborated with our pals at Nickel Brook Brewing to bring you "Somewhere" & "Over The Rainbow". Two unique beers, brewed in celebration of Pride Month, the LGBTQI+ community and Rainbow Railroad, the latter who help LGBTQI+ people escape persecution and violence around the world, and to whom a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated.
   
We have strategically blended our paradise lost sour base with an IPA bursting with tropical aromas. We amped up this blend with a healthy dose of mango and pineapple to make an over-the-top summer treat. Expect bold aromas of pineapple with velvety smooth mango on the palate. The acid from the sour base amplifies these flavours and the hops from the IPA complete this all inclusive vacation package.

    

SPACE OPERA - SHORT FINGER x BLOOD BROTHERS

Mixed Fermentation Fruit Punch DIPA w/ Honey • 8% ABV

"Our second Blood Brothers collab and our second fruit punch beer, this one’s a doozy. It was whirlpooled with oranges (sliced and zested) @ 16g/L. Strawberries and bananas were added into secondary @ 65g/L and 140g/L, respectively, and then to kick it up we added local honey from Guelph to secondary @ 140gL. The resulting beer tells a story with a lot of players and pulls it off with more grace than even we could have expected." 

 

STEP BROTHERS - BLOOD BROTHERS X WOOD BROTHERS

IIPA w/ Phantasm, Citra Spectrum, Citra Incognito, Cryo Citra & Nelson Sauvin • 8% ABV

A collaboration with fellow brothers at Wood Brothers Brewing, Step Brothers is a graduate of our Cunning of Hand masters program, our advanced pedagogy in IIPA experimentation. Unique to this juicy brew is a massive charge of mash hopping, a hefty dose of phantasm powder alongside incognito, spectrum and cryo hops (a few tried-and-true sidekicks from previous experimentations). We used Nelson Sauvin to accentuate aromatics of white grapes, lychee and citrus with a full body and round bitterness, creating the floofiest IIPA north of this side of heaven.

Triple Fruited Triple Sour w/ Apricot, Nectarine, Guava, Lime & Vanilla • 11.9% ABV

You asked us... so we made it. Tenafly Viper is here. 11.9% of fruited sour goodness. We brewed this monstrosity with whole Ontario nectarine, fresh limes, vanilla, apricot and guava puree. Expect the perfect amount of tartness to cut through a full bodied dessert finish.

 

THE WAITING ONES

Dry IPA • 7.5% ABV

Brewed to have little to no residual sugar, this IPA showcases the fruity and expressive Nelson Sauvin and El Dorado hops. Refermented with Chablis grapes, this ale is effervescent with a mild acidity and aroma of gooseberries and grapefruit.

 

TINY IPA

IPA w/ Nelson Sauvin, El Dorado & Lotus • 4.0%

We teamed up with Momofuku to bring you a beer for the IPA drinker with chores to finish. We've packed in a hefty dose of Nelson Sauvin, El Dorado and Lotus to give you an IPA experience at 4%. This smooth and refreshing beer boasts flavours of white grapes, tropical fruit and bright citrus.

 

TOAD OF LIGHT

North American Pale Ale •  5% ABV

This pale ale features a bold tropical fruit aroma, a result of being jam-packed with juicy Citra and El Dorado hops. The soft but assertive bitterness is balanced by a healthy dose of flaked oats and wheat in the grain bill.

 

TORCH

Imperial Brett IPA •  8.9% ABV

A deliciously strong and complex IPA, a result of 100% Brettanomyces fermentation and a heavy dose of El Dorado hops. Expect a citrusy and funky aroma followed by a mouthful of bitter marmalade.

 

TRANSCONTINENTAL POP

Sour Ale w/ Pineapple, Orange, Coconut & Vanilla • 5% ABV

A few months ago we put our heads together with the fine folks at Establishment Brewing Company to come up with a full flavoured refreshing sour ale. In a time of no travelling, no live music and a lack of all around fun we found inspiration in the 1970 festival transcontinental pop ( better known as festival express). We each brewed the same beer in our own way, so without having to travel, we could bring the show across the country.

Aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit meld perfectly into a bright lactic sour. Coconut provides a creamy and smooth texture while the combination of orange zest and vanilla leave notes of creamsicle on your palate. Enjoy the show.

 

TRANS HUMAN STATE

Pilsner-ish • 5% ABV

A soft, crisp and easy drinking pilsner. A small dry hop with Mandarina Bavaria balances out this refreshing brew.

Pilsner-ish w/ Amarillo & Centennial  • 5% ABV

Trans human state is an ongoing experimentation into the world of Lagered beers. The body is soft with a bready malt back bone. Amarillo and Centennial were used in the dry hop providing citrus aromatics. Each sip starts dry with touch of sweet stone fruit and citrus on the finish. Expect a medium body and balanced bitterness.

Pilsner-ish w/ Cashmere & Huell Melon • 5% ABV

Transhuman (formerly Trans Human State)  is our ongoing experimentation with the world of lagered beers. In this version we perfectly balanced a lively bitterness with a soft mouthfeel and bready malt backbone, then dry-hopped with Cashmere & Huell Melon, creating blossoming notes of jasmine, honeydew melon and citrus fruits. This is an evolved beer at the pinnacle of flavour achievement, and one we are quite proud of.

Pilsnerish w/ H. Blanc & Huell Melon • 5% ABV

Trans Human State is an ongoing experimentation into the world of Lagered beers.  This rendition is striking with a bright yellow straw hue. We have amplified the bitterness to balance perfectly with a soft mouthfeel and bready malt backbone. We dryhopped with Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon to provide aromas and flavours of fresh lemon, honey, and a touch of melon.

Pilsner-ish w/ Motueka • 5% ABV

Trans Human State is an ongoing experimentation into the world of lagered beers.  While keeping it’s soft body and bready malt backbone we have added rice to this rendition to lighten up the finish and improve drinkability.  Waimea was used in the boil and Motueka was used in the dry hop.  The result is a balanced and clean bitterness with floral and citrus  aromatics.

Pilsner-ish w/ Pacifica • 5% ABV

Trans human state is an ongoing experimentation into the world of Lagered beers. The body is soft with a bready malt back bone. Pacifica was used in the dry hop giving a touch of fresh cut grass, citrus and floral aromatics. Expect a medium body and balanced bitterness on the finish.

Pilsner-ish w/ Waimea • 5% ABV

Trans Human State is an ongoing experimentation into the world of lagered beers. The second iteration brings a soft, pillowy body, balanced bitterness from Saaz and fresh citrus on the nose from a touch of Waimea in the dry hop.

Named in honour of two rival gangs coming together for the purpose of peace, this ale is a blend of two of our favourite beers, Paradise Lost and Torch. Blended together and then heavily dry hopped with classic west coast 'C' hops, Paradise Lost gains added bitterness and Brett funk while giving the beer a bright acidity.

 

WERECAT

Bourbon Barrel Aged Sour Brown Ale •  8.7% ABV

Brewed with Belgian caramel malts and dark candi sugar, this sour ale features aromas of vanilla and caramel from aging the brew in Bourbon barrels.

    

WETTER

Wet Hop IPA w/ Citra & Wet Cryo Cascade • 6% ABV

Wetter sports a soft, pillowy body, creating the perfect vessel to deliver fully saturated tropical fruits and citrus upon the palate. Aromas of melon, citrus and pineapple and a very low bitterness showcase the juicy qualities of these fresh hops in just the right fusion to keep everything in check and to deliver a beer of stunning character. Wetter = better.

 

WHALES ALL DAY

IIPA w/ HBC 630, Citra, Sabro • 8.5% ABV

We teamed up with Fredericton’s hop wizards, Trailway Brewing. We shared a few tricks and made a double IPA to showcase what we’ve both been up to.

We used a hop that neither of us had worked with before and snuck in a few favourites for support.

We dry hopped this beer with HBC 630, citra and a touch of sabro.

Creamy peaches and coconut are the main players with vanilla and citrus in supporting roles. Full bodied and soft with a refined bitterness allowing for easy drinking in the double IPA realm.

 

WHITE LIES - CHABLIS

Sour Ale w/ Chablis Grapes • 6% ABV

A white wine inspired ale, this sour ale is refermented with Chablis Grapes and dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc.

 

WHITE LIES - MUSCAT

Sour Ale w/ Muscat Grapes • 6% ABV

A white wine inspired ale, this sour ale is refermented with Muscat grapes and dry hopped with Citra, Wai-ti and Wakatu.

 

WHITE LIES - RIESLING

Sour Ale w/ Riesling Grapes • 6% ABV

A white wine inspired ale, this sour ale is refermented with Riesling grapes and dry hopped with El Dorado.

 

WHITE LIES - SAUVIGNON BLANC

Sour Ale w/ Sauvignon Blanc Grapes •  6% ABV

Our original White Lies recipe, this white wine inspired sour ale is refermented with Sauvignon Blanc grapes and dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe. Notes of brettanomyces funk, grapefruit, and white grape.

Our hybrid sour ale, White Lies is refermented on a white grape blend and dry hopped with our favourite hops, boosting the aroma to perfectly compliment the wine base. No lie: this brew is the ultimate thirst quencher of the summer.
